It's time to take a look at the standout high school performers from Stark County for the past week.

Your vote will determine who will be the SARTA High School Athlete of the Week for May 6-12. We will pick one girl and one boy. Each athlete's credentials are listed above the poll — which will be live until 5 p.m. Thursday. The winners will be announced Friday morning on CantonRep.com.

Here's a look at the girls nominees, in alphabetical order:

Leah Claugus, Louisville softball

Hit two three-run home runs in an 11-1 win over Nordonia in a sectional final.

Ryleigh Hall, GlenOak softball

Went 2-for-3 with four RBIs in an 11-1 win over Ellet in a tournament game

Amahrie Harsh, Hoover track and field

Swept the 100, 200 and 400 meters and ran on Hoover's winning 800 relay at the Federal League Track and Field Championships. Ran a personal-best and meet-record 11.89 seconds in the 100.

Elena Knowles, GlenOak track and field

Broke the all-time Stark County record in the girls seated shot put twice last week. Threw 19-feet, ½ inch at the Federal League Junior Varsity meet and 19-1 at the Federal League Championships.

Evelyn Lynn, Canton South softball

Hit four home runs in three wins last week, including two in a 16-2 win of CVCA and one in a 7-6 win over Tuslaw.

Camille Neutzling, Perry track and field

Won the 100 and 300-meter hurdles at the Federal League Championships.

Daniela Scheffler, Lake track and field

Won the 1,600 and 3,200 meters at the Federal League Championships.

Here's a look at the boys nominees, in alphabetical order:

Cameron Evanich, Marlington track and field

Won the 200 meters and long jump and ran on Marlington's winning 800 and 1,600 relays at the Eastern Buckeye Conference Championships, helping lead the Dukes to the team title.

Tyler Hackenbracht, Massillon baseball

Hit a walk-off home run in a 7-4 win over Dover, going 3-for-4 with five RBIs in that game, and went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in an 8-6 win over Alliance.

Eli Ilg, Jackson track and field

Won the 1,600 and 3,200 at the Federal League Championships, running a meet-record 4:14.05 in the 1,600.

Ryan Kavanagh, Hoover lacrosse

Scored seven goals and had an assist in a 20-3 win over Hoban.

Dylan Lahr, Jackson baseball

Hit a double and home run, driving in three in a 9-3 win over Green, and went 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 5-2 win over Green.

Nick Petro, Sandy Valley baseball

Became Sandy Valley's career leader in stolen bases, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a rout of Garfield, helping Cardinals go 4-0 last week. Drove in three in an 11-10 win over Green, homered in a win over Springfield and earned save and scored twice in one-run win over Fairless.

Savian Wilkins, McKinley baseball

Pitched a no-hitter with six strikeouts in a 4-0 win over Indian Valley, and had two doubles, two RBIs and a run in a 13-3 win over Kidron.
