Cleveland Cavaliers vs Orlando Magic predictions, odds: Who wins NBA playoff series?

The No. 4-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers will face the No. 5 Orlando Magic in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

Game 1 of the best-of-seven series is set for noon Saturday in Cleveland (ESPN). The two teams split the regular-season series, 2-2.

Cleveland (48-34) enters the series with its core intact. Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland and Evan Mobley all played fewer than 60 games this season, but the trio is available for the postseason.

Orlando (47-35) is making its first playoff appearance since the 2019-20 campaign. Its players have appeared in a combined 91 playoff games, which is the lowest total out of all the playoff/play-in teams.

Justin Martinez writes: "The lights were too bright last season for Cleveland, which suffered a 4-1 series loss to New York in the first round of the playoffs. A lack of physicality proved to be the Cavaliers' downfall, and that'll have to change when they face the Magic. Jalen Suggs and company will make it a scrappy series, but Orlando doesn't have the experience or shooting to pull off the upset."
