What channel is Purdue basketball vs. Rutgers on? Start time, betting odds

Purdue basketball is riding a four-game winning streak as it visits a place where it has struggled.

The No. 2 Boilermakers (18-2, 7-2) have won by an average of 21 points during their win streak. Lance Jones (18.0 points, 46.9% 3-point shooting) and Zach Edey (27.3 points, 15.5 rebounds, 2.3 blocked shots) have excelled during that stretch.

Purdue team leaders: Edey (22.9 points, 11.4 rebounds, 2.3 blocked shots); Jones (12.5 points, 1.4 steals); Braden Smith (11.8 points, 42.6% on 3-pointers, 5.5 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1.6 steals); Fletcher Loyer (11.3 points, 43.8% on 3s). Coach Matt Painter is in his 19th season.

Rutgers (10-8, 2-5) is a much different team at home than on the road. The Scarlet Knights are 9-1 at home this season, 2-0 since returning to Big Ten play. On the road, they're 0-4 in that period. Rutgers struggles scoring (39% from the field, 29.6% on 3-pointers, 65.6% on free throws), but it is +3.5 per game in turnover margin.

Rutgers team leaders: Aundre Hyatt (12.2 points, 34.6% 3s, 5.4 rebounds); Clifford Omoruyi (10.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.3 blocks); Mawot Mag (10.5 points, 4.8 rebounds). Steve Pikiell is in his eighth season as coach.

Purdue has had trouble with Rutgers in recent years, losing five of the past seven meetings and splitting last season (winning in the Big Ten tournament, losing at West Lafayette). The Scarlet Knights have won three straight in Piscataway (2020-22).
