Kerr's high 5, low 5
Each week during the regular season, I will rank the five best teams – and the five worst teams – in the NBA.

Team records are through Jan. 3.
THE HIGH FIVE
1.San Antonio Spurs (25-7) – I know, I know. Phoenix has three fewer losses than the Spurs. But Tim Duncan and Co.'s manhandling of the Suns last week in San Antonio was too much to ignore.
2.Phoenix Suns (26-4) – Amare Stoudemire is flat-out scary. Fifty points against Portland on Sunday night! Road games this week against Minnesota and Houston will be a good test for him and his team.
3.Seattle SuperSonics (23-6) – The Sonics started their week by beating the Heat and face two more of the East's elite on the road – Orlando and Washington.
4.Miami Heat (25-8) – Shaquille O'Neal is the MVP of the East so far, but Dwyane Wade has dominated the fourth quarters of the Heat's 14-game win streak. He is Miami's Eric Gagne – its closer.
5.Sacramento Kings (19-9) – The Kings enjoyed their best win of the season Sunday night in beating San Antonio. Chris Webber is quietly putting together an excellent season.
THE LOW FIVE
26.Milwaukee Bucks (9-18) – The Bucks are just 3-7 since Keith Van Horn went on the injured list.
27.Toronto Raptors (11-21) – The Raptors have lost 12 of 14. Chris Bosh is the best young player nobody knows about.
28.Charlotte Bobcats (7-21) – Emeka Okafor had led the Bobcats in rebounding for 19 consecutive games before Monday night's loss to Cleveland.
29.Atlanta Hawks (5-24) – The Hawks traded for Tyronn Lue last week. It's going to take more than that to get them going.
30.New Orleans Hornets (2-27) – Only two victories. But don't worry Hornet fans. Jim Jackson is on his way. Or is he?
