For the second straight game, North Carolina will be without their top pass-catcher.
Wide receiver Josh Downs will miss Saturday’s game against Georgia State due to a lower body injury that also kept him out of last week’s win over Appalachian State, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Downs is widely regarded as one of the top receiver prospects in the 2023 NFL draft class, but we’ll have to wait at least another week to see him on the field.
