Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL playoff matchup

Two high-powered teams collide when Josh Alen's Buffalo Bills host Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals with a trip to the AFC championship game on the line.

The game will be a rematch of the Week 17 bout that was not resumed after Bills safety Damar Hamlin went into cardiac arrest on the field in Cincinnati. Both teams are 2-0 in the weeks since (including playoffs). Can Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Co. lead the Bengals to a second straight AFC title game? Or will Allen, Stefon Diggs and the Bills' offense reign supreme? The game will kick off Sunday at 3 p.m. ET from Highmark Stadium.

Lorenzo Reyes: Bills 31, Bengals 30

These two teams know each other so well that it's difficult to see the game ever getting out of hand. Allen was rather careless with the ball in the wild-card round and Burrow will need to do more to keep up with the Bills on offense. Buffalo, though, has covered only three of its last 11 games.

Safid Deen: Bengals 34, Bills 28

This game comes down to quarterbacks, and I’m taking Burrow over Allen. The former is much more composed than the latter, whose three turnovers nearly cost Buffalo against Miami last week. The Bengals will learn from the Dolphins’ gameplan to let Allen run wild and turn the ball over himself, while Burrow and the offense give the Bills’ defense fits up and down the field. It’ll be a close game near the end, but I’m taking Cincinnati on the road.

Richard Morin: Bills 34, Bengals 31

It's hard to imagine this game not coming down to the wire, and the Bills really feel like a team of destiny this season. Allen got his mistakes out of the way in a so-so performance against the Dolphins in the wild-card round. The Bengals, meanwhile, will give Buffalo everything it has but will ultimately fall a field goal short.

Jarrett Bell: Bills 34, Bengals 31

Nate Davis: Bengals 27, Bills 23
