Camanche names Kelly Lynch as new head basketball coach
Apr. 17—CAMANCHE — The Camanche Storm announced on Wednesday afternoon that they have named Kelly Lynch as their new head basketball coach.
"I'm thrilled to bring my passion for the game to our community," Lynch said in a released statement.
Lynch is a native of Chariton, Iowa, where he played basketball and eventually took his talents to the collegiate level at St. Ambrose University in Davenport. He then furthered his education at Palmer College where he earned both a Bachelor's in Science and a Doctorate in Chiropractic.
His nine years of coaching experience has spanned across Iowa, Missouri and Florida. Lynch spent this past year as an assistant coach with the Storm where they went 6-16.
"Together, let's embark on a season filled with teamwork, dedication and a shared pursuit of excellence," Lynch said.
