In 2015, we saw many jersey fouls that had to do with Connor McDavid.
In 2016, as McDavid’s following grew with every gorgeous goal and end-to-end rush, fans all over hockey decided to honor McDavid with even more jersey fouls. One McDavid foul is represented on this list, but many others were under consideration. Once again, McDavid was the undisputed jersey foul champion amongst hockey players.
The below fouls are all creative, colorful, funny and the best of the best from 2016.

This was the first Harambe foul we received. Since this submission many more people have sent us ‘No. 69 Harambe’ jerseys. (emily)
6. Jacob Trouba to Teemu Selanne
This was submitted while Trouba was sitting out because of his Winnipeg Jets trade request. Also, Selanne never played for Jets. 2.0.

4. New York Islanders double foul
When the traveling ‘Crosby Sucks’ Islanders fan joined forces with a fan who wanted the team to return to Long Island.
3. Big Hatch
Honoring former Dallas Stars captain Derian Hatcher (Kacie Landrum)
2. ‘Your Name’ foul
