Three golfers record holes-in-one on same hole in one hour

The hole-in-one is still the greatest accomplishment in golf, but over the past couple of years, just making one wasn't enough to get you in the spotlight.

To become an Internet golf sensation, you needed to hole-out from 360-yard on a par-4 or call your shot on the tee.

Or you could be a part of an amazing feat, like being one of three golfers to make a hole-in-one on the same hole in under an hour.

Yep, you read that right: three golfers holed out on the same hole in the same hour.

The Naples News has all the details on the incredible accomplishment:

Spanish Wells was the place for aces on Sunday. Within an hour's time, club pro Chris Selvaggio wrote in an email, three holes-in-one were made on the same hole, No. 4 on the East Course in Bonita Springs.

Ed Delson used an 8-iron, and Theo Neteler used a 9-iron from 128 yards, while Ingrid Clauson made hers with a 9-wood from 102 yards.

Just when you think the hole-in-one stories can't get any crazier, three golfers go out and pull this off. Hopefully the clubhouse bar at Spanish Wells got to share in the excitement.
