The OKC Blue is set to face the Maine Celtics in the NBA G League Finals.

Both No. 3-seeded OKC and No. 2-seeded Maine are searching for their first-ever championship. The best-of-three series begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday with Game 1 in Portland, Maine.

Has the OKC Blue ever won the NBA G League Finals?

The Blue hasn't won a championship since its move to OKC in 2014.

The franchise won back-to-back D-League titles in 2004 and 2005 when it was the Asheville Altitude. It also reached the D-League Finals in 2010 when it was the Tulsa 66ers.

This is the first time OKC has reached the G League Finals. It reached the conference finals in 2017 but suffered a 2-1 series loss to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Who is the OKC Blue's head coach?

Kameron Woods is the head coach of the OKC Blue.

Woods is a former Butler forward (2011-15) who didn't get selected in the 2015 NBA Draft. He then played for the Blue from 2015-17.

Woods joined the Blue's staff as an assistant in 2018. He then became the head coach in 2022.

Projected OKC Blue starting lineup for 2024 NBA G League Finals

  • Adam Flagler: Flagler went undrafted in 2023, but OKC signed him to a two-way contract in February. The 6-foot-3 guard is averaging 14.1 points and 3.3 assists in G League play this season.

  • Jahmi'us Ramsey: Ramsey played in seven games for the Toronto Raptors this season. The 6-3 guard is averaging 22 points and 8.2 rebounds in G League play.

  • Keyontae Johnson: OKC selected Johnson in the second round (No. 50 overall) of the 2023 NBA Draft and signed him to a two-way contract. The 6-4 forward is averaging 19.9 points and 5.8 rebounds in G League play.

  • Ousmane Dieng: OKC selected Dieng with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. The 6-9 forward is averaging 17.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and six assists in G League play.

  • Olivier Sarr: Sarr went undrafted in 2021, but OKC signed him to a two-way contract in August. The 6-10 center is averaging 14.3 points and 13.3 rebounds in G League play.
