Father Ryan's Kailey Nicholson captures La-Z-Boy Furniture's girls athlete of the week
Congratulations to Father Ryan's Kailey Nicholson who captured this week's La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries girls high school athlete of the week in the Nashville area.
Nicholson captured 3,255 total votes for 60.8% of the girls vote total (5,349). She beat out DCA's Bailey Shepard (1,161) and classmate, Maggie Slattery (355).
Nicholson had 24 kills, 11 digs, and 10 blocks in the Irish victories over CPA, Ensworth, and Lipscomb Academy in the DII-AA region tournament last week. Nicholson was also named the Division II-AA All-Tournament MVP.
