With the Vikings’ four fumbles, they have lost a total of 44% in win probability. In week one, they lost 33.6% on three turnovers.
Minnesota’s turnover woes have set this team back more than any other part of this offense. When you turn the ball over at a rate like the Vikings have in these first two weeks, you handicap your offense and tire out your defense by continuously keeping them on the field.
The fact that the Vikings are still in this game after these four fumbles is a testament to the resolve of this team but the mistakes cannot continue.
