USA TODAY High School Sports Super 25 football recap: Oct. 6 and Oct. 7
Two games on this weekend’s schedule have yet to kick off—No. 10 Kahuku and No. 18 Columbus (Miami)—but expect another shakeup in next week’s USA TODAY HSS Super 25 after the latest action across the high school football landscape.
While a few of the top teams had statement wins, others were less convincing, with No. 12 Miami Central (Fla.) surviving a close one against Miami Northwestern, No. 23 Walton sneaking by North Cobb (Ga.) and No. 22 Chandler (Ariz.) suffering its first defeat of the season.
