Thursday's Top Prep Performers from volleyball, flag football, golf, tennis and water polo

Highlights from Thursday in high school sports:

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

  • Kate Duffey compiled 26 assists, 12 digs and eight kills, Gigi Scaglia had 12 kills and 12 digs, Daphne Raymond finished with 10 kills and four blocks, and Chloe Simpson and Sophia Sletten each had 12 digs to lead Ventura (12-2, 7-0) to a 25-21, 22-25, 25-21, 12-25, 17-15 victory over Santa Barbara in a Channel League match.

  • Valerie Ibarra finished with 30 assists, Laney Ramirez had 10 kills, Ava Ordonez had seven kills, and Jessica Camarillo contributed 10 digs to lead Oxnard (6-9, 4-3) to a 25-15, 25-22, 25-19 sweep of Rio Mesa in a Channel League match. Jill Lan had nine kills, six digs and ace, JayDee Castro finished with nine kills, two digs and an ace, and Sadie Castro and Bella Pizano each added three kills for the Spartans.

  • Shai Daniels had 17 kills and nine digs, Ashley Sulkowski had seven kills and Halleigh Paquette finished with 10 digs for Buena in its 15-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-22 loss to San Marcos in a Channel League match.

  • Ayzlinn Trefren finished with 14 kills, 12 digs, three aces and two blocks, Emily Ford had 12 kills, three aces and two blocks, and Kyriah Trefren had 17 digs to lead Royal (9-4, 1-0) to a 25-12, 25-21, 25-23 sweep of Oak Park in a Coastal Canyon League match. Zoe Vanderbok had eight kills, Taylor Mansmann had eight digs and two aces, Mikaela Merilles had nine digs, Savannah Mitchell finished with 13 assists and eight digs, and Maegan Daley had seven assists and two aces for the Eagles.

  • Halle Bryce recorded 12 kills, Makayla Briones had 12 digs and Elle Anger finished with 21 assists to lead Camarillo to a 25-22, 17-25, 25-17, 25-16 win over Simi Valley in a Coastal Canyon League match. Olivia Campisi had six kills and 20 digs, Reagan Woods had 11 kills and three aces, Claire Fitzgerald finished with 12 assists, 10 digs, five kills and four aces, Akina Nash had 13 assists, three kills and three aces, and Chloe Cook had three kills and two blocks for the Pioneers.

  • Alexis O’Keefe and Joia McJimpson each had nine kills, Kiyomi Kohno finished with 24 assists, and Makena Biondi had five kills, five block and two aces to lead Agoura to a 25-16, 25-16, 25-20 sweep of Westlake in a Marmonte League match.

  • London Halvorsen had eight kills, Leah Curtin had seven kills, Mia Paculan contributed 12 digs, and Hailey Lauritzen compiled 16 assists to lead Thousand Oaks (7-2, 2-1) to a 25-14, 25-23, 25-17 sweep of Calabasas in a Marmonte League match.

  • Oaks Christian swept Newbury Park 25-7, 25-8, 25-17 to improve to 13-7 overall and 3-0 in the Marmonte League.

  • Sarah Shaw finished with 29 kills, six blocks and three digs, Logan Burns had 17 digs and 11 kills, Emily Morge contributed 17 digs, four kills and three aces, Makenna Hawkins had 14 digs and four kills, Maggie Kearin had 21 digs, and Reagan Maguire added three kills, two digs and two blocks to lead La Reina (14-4, 3-0) to a 25-20, 25-18, 20-25, 25-17 victory over St. Bonaventure in a Tri-Valley League match.

  • Ashlynn Mullin had 17 kills, Malia Gray finished with 12 kills and nine digs, and Morgan Houston had 32 assists and six aces for Foothill Tech in its 23-25, 25-23, 15-25, 25-22, 15-10 loss to Cate in a Tri-Valley League match.

  • Kinsley Gullatt had 14 kills and six aces, Zoe Sercu had five kills, Gabby Nunal had six kills, and Grace Hibbler added 29 assists to lead Villanova Prep (7-6, 2-0) to a 25-17, 25-14, 25-9 sweep of Santa Clara in a Frontier League match.

GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL

  • Camarillo defeated Simi Valley 20-6 to improve to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the league.

GIRLS GOLF

  • Avery Wells earned medalist honors by shooting an even-par 35, Sierra Engel shot a 37, Katya Ayala had a 39, Annabelle Shilley had a 40, and Meg Hampton finished with a 41 to lead Buena (5-1, 2-0) to a 192-289 win over Pacifica in a Channel League match at River Ridge Golf Club.

  • Lorne Rieman shot a 47, Oakley Moran and Natalie Jones each had a 49, and Alina Garcia and Jasmine Wanamaker each had a 52 to lead Ventura (3-0, 1-1) to a 249-256 win over Dos Pueblos in a Channel League match at Olivas Links Golf Course. Victoria Chen was the medalist with a 42 for the Chargers.

  • Kiley Reisner was the medalist with 2-over 37, Elizabeth Marez shot a 43 and Janelle Avila had a 47 to lead Simi Valley (4-4) to a 225-241 win over Royal in a Coastal Canyon League match at Simi Hills Golf Course. Cameron Michel, Mikayla Lev and Christian Lim each shot a 46 for the Highlanders.

  • Mei Li Root was the medalist with a 39, Kalia Aparicio shot a 40, Maddie Mitsuuchi had a 44, and Kenzie Marsh followed with a 45 to lead Camarillo (3-6, 2-3) to a 218-254 win over Moorpark in a Coastal Canyon League match at Spanish Hills Country Club. Brooke Skiere led the Highlanders (0-4, 0-2) with a 48.

  • Payton Morris was the medalist with a 3-over 37, Katelyn Brozowski shot a 39 and Isabel Lee had a 41 to lead Westlake to a 204-272 victory over Newbury Park in a Marmonte League match at Los Robles Greens Golf Course. Jenna Fournell shot a 47 and Kambria Mastro had a 49 for the Panthers.

  • Nina Xu was the medalist with a 38 to lead unbeaten Oak Park (7-0) to a 195-209 win over Oaks Christian in a nonleague match from the men's tees at Sterling Hills Country Club. Ava Aye shot a 40, Alesia Barry had a 41 and Julie Bruns and Catz Laranang each shot a 42 for the Lions (2-2).

  • Piper Singleton shot a 4-over 40, Audrey Yoong had a 42 and newcomer Maddie Wicks shot a 56 to lead Foothill Tech (2-0, 1-0) to a 260-321 over La Reina in a Tri-Valley League match.

GIRLS TENNIS

  • Katherine Blackwood swept at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-1, 6-1, Ellie Lin swept at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-1, 6-0, Christina Vojtech won two singles sets, and Kaitlin Mayer and Hannah Huang swept in doubles, 6-2, 6-2, 6-2, to lead Oaks Christian (3-1) to a 12-6 win over Viewpoint in a nonleague match.

  • Oak Park defeated Newbury Park 16-2 in a nonleague match to improve to 8-1 overall.

BOYS WATER POLO

  • Joaquin Rodriguez scored four goals to lead Villanova Prep to a 14-7 win over Milken in a nonleague game.

  • Camarillo defeated Newbury Park 23-8.
