Tahoka's Grace Reglin, Lubbock-Cooper's Chris Carrillo voted A-J athletes of the week

Grace Reglin picked up a trio of gold medals in the District 5-2A track meet last week. The Tahoka junior took first in the high jump, 100 and 200 and added a second-place finish in the long jump. Reglin garnered 71.78% of the vote to be named female athlete of the week.

Chris Carrillo, Sr., Lubbock-Cooper

Chris Carrillo earned a trip to the area track meet in a pair of events. The Lubbock-Cooper senior won the shot put and came in second in the discus throw at the District 4-5A meet last week. He received 73.89% of the vote to earn male athlete of the week honors.
