Sonora boys basketball's Evan Arredondo voted Standard-Times Athlete of the Week
With playoffs right around the corner for girls basketball and district play ramping up for boys basketball, plenty of West Texas athletes had outstanding performances last week.
This week, Sonora boys basketball's Evan Arredondo was voted as the Standard-Times Athlete of the Week after receiving 25,455 votes which was 53.21% of the total votes cast.
Arredondo was nominated after recording 27 points, seven rebounds and one steal in a win over Water Valley last week.
