Social media reactions leading up to Florida’s week 2 matchup against Kentucky

As the weather cleared up in Gainesville, Florida football’s game-day festivities continued in anticipation of the SEC opener against Kentucky.

Several big-name recruits are on campus this week, and there’s a buzz in the air as Florida looks to start the Billy Napier 2-0 and avenge a loss to the Wildcats from last season. It’s also one of the few times both teams enter the matchup ranked in the top 25.

Eventually, Billy Napier led his team through the Gator Walk and fans filed into the stadium to watch both teams warm up before kick-off. Anthony Richardson and Will Levis are the two first-round quarterbacks set to clash, and all eyes are on them, including those of NFL scouts and executives.

If the weather stays decent, this should be one of the better games of the weekend. Here’s a look at the best moments leading up to the game as captured by social media.
