RCTC drops both ends of softball doubleheader
Apr. 7—ROCHESTER — The Rochester Community and Technical College softball team dropped a pair of games Sunday, losing 9-7 and 7-5 to Dakota County Technical College.
RCTC, now 7-15 overall, got three hits apiece in the first game from Michaela Kern (two RBIs), Mirrah Wells (two RBIs) and Abby Zahn. Tayler Draeger pitched all seven innings and allowed 18 hits and struck out five for the Yellowjackets.
In the 7-5 loss, Aubrey Grover, Zoey Clark and Zahn each had two hits and Clark drove in two runs. Clark pitched seven innings and allowed 12 hits and struck out five.
