'Not sexy enough'? ESPN's Tim Legler pushes for more Pacers conversation

At least one ESPN NBA analyst wants to see more of the Indiana Pacers.

"I wish I had video of all the meetings I've been in this year at ESPN, when I wanted to talk more about the Indiana Pacers, particularly after they got (Pascal) Siakam)," analyst Tim Legler said on Ryen Russillo's podcast.

The response to Legler? "It's just not sexy enough."

Not to Legler, a 43.1% 3-point shooter in a nine-year NBA career that ended in 2000.

'It was just a mess at the end': Late mistakes ruin Game 1 for Pacers vs. Celtics

"I watch this team every night and I go, 'That's a fun style to play in. I envy these guys to play in a system like this,'" he said. "Just how hard it is to guard. This many guys who make shots, and they don't waste one dribble."

ESPN's coverage of Game 7 between the Pacers and New York Knicks brought widespread criticism. The Pacers beat the Knicks to reach the Eastern Conference finals, where they trail the Boston Celtics 1-0 in a best-of-seven series.
