Missouri State basketball vs. Murray State: How to watch Arch Madness opening game

Missouri State and Murray State will have the honor of tipping off the 2024 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in an opening-round game on Thursday at noon.

The ninth-seeded Bears and the eighth-seeded Racers will play for the right to play in the MVC quarterfinals on Friday against top-ranked Indiana State, also at noon.

Murray State swept the Bears during the regular season with a 77-53 win in Springfield on Jan. 10 and an 82-72 victory in Murray, Kentucky, on Valentine's Day. Indiana State was 4-0 against the two during the regular season.

Thursday's game will mark the first tournament matchup between the two MSUs. Murray State joined the league in 2022-23 and was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Drake.
