Jacksonville State undrafted free agents tracker: Gamecocks who signed after 2024 NFL Draft

Jacksonville State football didn't have the best NFL draft with no former Gamecocks hearing their name called but some could still see their NFL dreams realized by signing undrafted free agent deals.

Some of the most likely candidates include Jackson Luttrell, who is also a Westbrook Christian alum, Quae Drake, Kolbi Fuqua and Perry Carter. Those four were selected by NFL scouts to do extra drills following a small school Pro-Day at UAB in Birmingham during March.

With no players drafted it still means that Siran Neal is the last former Gamecock to be drafted in 2018 by the Buffalo Bills. Neal signed a deal recently to play for the Dolphins.

Check back here as former Gamecocks potentially sign on as UDFAs.

CARTER LAMBERT: How Jax State football Carter Lambert went from undersized to potential gadget player

POST SPRING OUTLOOK: Five things Jacksonville State football, Rich Rodriguez needs to answer after 2024 Spring Game

Perry Carter, WR, Carolina Panthers

Carter earned a Rookie Mini-camp invite to the Panthers, who are looking for potential depth and playmakers at receiver. Carter showed big play ability for the Gamecocks. He made 38 catches last year for 672 yards and four touchdowns. He has a long road to making the roster but has shown patience and the right mindset during his time at Jax State.

Kolbi Fuqua, LB, Buffalo Bills

Another player heading to a mini-camp soon, Fuqua will look to make a name for himself in Buffalo with a long road to making the final roster. At times Fuqua was a tackling machine but played more of a coverage role for the Gamecocks.

Quae Drake, LB, New York Giants

Drake earned a rookie mini-camp offer with the Giants. Drake was one of the unquestioned leader of the Gamecocks defense last year, bringing the right mindset into a long road ahead if he wants to make the NFL. Drake was one of the Gamecocks leading tacklers throughout the season and could ramp up the tackles as needed, but rarely was used in pass rush settings.

Treylon Brown, OL, Pittsburgh Steelers

Brown earned a mini camp offer to join the Steelers. Coming at a position of need, Brown has probably the best chance, albeit still slim, of any former Gamecock to make a roster. Brown was a tenacious blocker, excelling in the run block for the Gamecocks, paving the way for one of the nations' top rushing offenses.
