New York Giants rookie safety Xavier McKinney missed much of his first NFL season due to injury, but he came up big in the team’s Week 17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

In the final moments, McKinney, who had played well in his return from injured reserve, brought down an interception of Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton in the final moments of the fourth quarter.

Although running back Wayne Gallman fumbled in the closing seconds to make things interesting, McKinney’s interception ultimately sealed the game and positioned the Giants to win the NFC East.

Following his game-winner, which was essentially predicted earlier in the week, McKinney took aim at FOX Sports 1 shock-jock Skip Bayless.

Bayless had been publicly low on McKinney after he ultimately landed with the Giants. It’s only fitting he’s forced to eat some crow pie with a little egg on his face.
