The Giants made a flurry of roster moves ahead of Sunday afternoon’s matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.

New York placed left guard Ben Bredeson on injured reserve with a knee injury. Bredeson will now be out for at least the next four weeks.

The veteran lineman started the first seven games of the season at left guard for Big Blue. He suffered his knee injury in last week’s game against the Jags.

For Week 8’s game, both LB/S Landon Collins and TE Lawrence Cager have been elevated from the practice squad.

Collins made his season debut last week against the Jaguars and played 32 percent of the snaps, including the last drive of the game. He made just one tackle, on his first snap of the game, but it stopped a screen to help force the Jags to settle for a field goal.

Cager was likely elevated to serve as depth at the tight end position with Daniel Bellinger out after undergoing eye surgery. Cager started the season opener for the Jets but was quickly released and joined the Giants practice squad.

The Giants also activated OLB Elerson Smith from injured reserve. Smith missed the first seven games of the season due to a foot injury but was able to return to practice this week.

Rookie Josh Ezeudu will likely start in his place Sunday against the Seahawks.
