The Super Bowl was less than a month ago, but NFL fans are already itching for some football.
They have to wait until August for that, when the preseason kicks off. But there is plenty of fun to be had before then, starting with the NFL scouting combine, which began Feb. 27 and lasts until March 3.
Here are important dates to know for the NFL offseason.
When is the NFL scouting combine? How to watch on TV
The combine started Feb. 27 and runs until March 3. NFL Network has had wall-to-wall coverage of the event. Here are some upcoming dates and times fans can watch some of their favorite former college stars work out.
March 1: Defensive backs and tight ends. Coverage airs from 3-9 p.m. ET.
March 2: Quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs. Coverage airs from 1-9 p.m. ET.
March 3: Offensive linemen. Coverage airs from 1-5 p.m. ET.
When does NFL free agency start in 2024?
Teams can begin negotiating with free-agent players starting at noon ET March 11. However, contracts cannot be signed until 4 p.m. March 13. Teams can also start making trades at 4 p.m. March 13, as that is the official start of the new league year.
When is the 2024 NFL draft?
The NFL draft is from April 25-27. Here is the schedule.
Round 1: Thursday, April 25, 8 p.m. ET.
Rounds 2-3: Friday, April 26, 7 p.m. ET.
Rounds 4-7: Saturday, April 27, noon ET.
The draft will air on ABC, ESPN and NFL Network, and will stream on NFL+, ESPN+, Hulu+ Live TV and FuboTV.
