What could the Boston Celtics do to pivot in a pinch if the injury bug bites hard?
Before a season even starts, no one wants to think about what might go wrong with it for their favorite ball club, but in the case of the Boston Celtics as currently constructed ahead of their 2023-24 campaign, it would be malpractice for the team’s front office to not at least consider a few contingency moves.
With several players who have had trouble staying on the court due to injury in the past on the roster and age or wear and tear a factor to consider for a few players as well, the Celtics ought to have a few potential trade targets — and the offers they will entail — ready should a fix be needed in a very short amount of time.
