Bills snap counts: Depth chart breakdown vs. Steelers
The Buffalo Bills got after it against the Pittsburgh Steelers and ended up taking a 31-17 win, on Sunday evening in the NFL’s Wild Card round.
But who exactly were the ones on the field for the Bills doing all the dirty work against the Steelers?
More often than not, taking a look in between the lines at snap count totals for Buffalo’s players can give us some insight as to what went down in between the lines on the gridiron.

With that, here’s how the Bills depth chart broke down via snap counts in their latest win against the Steelers:
Offense
WR Andy Isabella played a season-high total number of snaps.
RB Latavius Murray played as James Cook’s backup. RB Leonard Fournette was then released from the practice squad after the game.
OL Connor McGovern was injured late and missed a snap.
OL David Edwards appeared in heavy packages again.
WR Gabe Davis (knee) did not play.
TE Dalton Kincaid out-snapped TE Dawson Knox for the third-straight game. Prior to that, Knox had more in two games in a row after returning from a hand injury.
Defense
LB Terrel Bernard (ankle) was injured and replaced by AJ Klein.
LB Baylon Spector (back) was also injured and replaced by Dorian Williams.
CB Rasul Douglas (knee) did not play and was replaced by Christian Benford (knee) who was also injured–Kaiir Elam filled in and had an interception.
CB Taron Johnson (concussion) was injured and replaced by Cam Lewis.
DT Linval Joseph played 17 snaps after being inactive in previously weeks–Poona Ford was inactive vs. the Steelers.
DE Von Miller stayed in the lineup after he was inactive three weeks ago.
DE Greg Rousseau out-snapped Leonard Floyd, who led the Bills last week from the pass-rusher position.
Special teams
Tier 1 snaps for special teams were FB Reggie Gilliam, TE Quintin Morris.
S Damar Hamlin played 17 special teams snaps.
