Bills’ Terrel Bernard carted off field vs. Steelers

Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard appears to have sustained a serious injury against the Steelers in their Wild-Card round meeting at Highmark Stadium.

Bernard came down awkwardly after making a tackle. He held his leg on the play and the team has since announced Bernard’s injury is to his ankle.

Bernard appears to be out for the remainder of the contest because he needed assistance from a medical cart to leave the field.

An update from the Bills said that Bernard is getting X-rays on the injury.

Earlier in the contest, Buffalo had already lost linebacker Baylon Spector to a back injury. Spector was staring in place of the injured Tyrel Dodson (shoulder).
