2023 Leagues Cup: TV and streaming info, game times, groups for MLS-Liga MX tournament

The 2023 Leagues Cup, a newly formatted 47-team tournament featuring every club from Major League Soccer and Liga MX, is set to kick off with five games on Friday.

Both leagues have halted regular-season play to participate in the tournament, which will hold the championship game on Aug. 19. All 77 matches will be held either in the U.S. or Canada.

Automatic Concacaf Champions League bids are on the line, as well as territorial bragging rights, as North America's top two soccer leagues take part in the World Cup-style competition.

Will Lionel Messi play in Leagues Cup?

Yes. Messi will be available for selection for Inter Miami CF when they take on Liga MX side Cruz Azul in the opening match of Leagues Cup on July 21.

Where will Leagues Cup be broadcast?

All Leagues Cup matches will be streamed live on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app. Fox Sports and Univision will broadcast select games on linear television.
