September 11, 2020: Major League Soccer has announced the 2020 regular season schedule through the end of September. From September 18-27, each MLS club will compete in three regular season matches. Additional 2020 MLS regular season matches will be announced pending further developments regarding travel protocols.
As a result, Dike will not just be competing against fellow college graduates and other players making their professional debuts. Instead, his competition will include LAFC star Diego Rossi, Toronto standout Ayo Akinola and Philadelphia’s Brenden Aaronson, who recently set an MLS record for highest transfer fee for an MLS homegrown player. Aaronson is slated to leave the league at the end of this season.
