Julian Edelman most efficient Pats receiver by far

Patriots receiver Julian Edelman has accounted for more than 44 percent of Tom Brady's passing yards through two games. He's caught 80 percent of his targets (12 of 15), and 27 percent of Brady's completions overall.

Edelman leads New England and ranks 11th in the NFL with 176 receiving yards. Only tight end Rob Gronkowski, with 17 targets, has had more passes thrown his way by Brady.

"I'm going to go out there and do my job and that's to get open and catch the ball," Edelman told ESPN.com. "I'm not the quarterback, so I'm sure -- it's only two games, there's a lot of season left -- there are going to be games where other guys are going to get more rocks than me. But I'm just going to continue to try to get better and do my job."

Edelman also has 30 rushing yards this season.
