Buzzing on Yahoo Sports:

Branden Albert, Jared Veldheer, Rodger Saffold all find new homes

National Football Post

Three of the top free-agent left tackles reached quick agreements with new teams once the new league year got underway.

The top tackle of the bunch, Branden Albert, agreed to a contract worth $46 million over five years with the Miami Dolphins, according to a league source. $25 million of the deal is guaranteed. A former first-round pick of the Chiefs, Albert started all but two games he appeared in for the organization.

The Raiders signed former Rams lineman Rodger Saffold to a deal that will average $8.5 million per season. Saffold can play both tackle and guard and has started 44 of the 47 games he's appeared in during his NFL career.

The reason the Raiders needed a new tackle was because Jared Veldheer decided to to join Arizona, as he agreed to a contract with the Cardinals. The big 6-8 tackle spent the majority of the 2013 season injured, but has been a starter the past three years.
