Notre Dame quarterback Gunner Kiel still gets carded at movie theaters

Gunner Kiel is 19 years old, the top quarterbacking recruit from the 2012 class and a backup for Notre Dame, the national championship runner-up.

But none of that stopped a local movie theater from carding him as he attempted to get into an R-rated movie on Sunday.

Apparently, Kiel’s boyish looks (pic above from a year ago) confound even movie theater workers. Seriously, who gets carded at a movie theater above the age of 12? In fact, I've seen 12-year-olds in R-rated movies. I imagine Kiel's boyish looks also cramp his style while trying to sneak into bars in South Bend (not that he does that kind of thing).
