Video: Gregg Popovich wants reporters to 'think of a question'

There's never really a good time to ask a coach why his team lost a game. In the first place, it's not like they're going to discuss in-depth the ins and outs of their strategy with a reporter. And furthermore, they're not usually the most jovial guys on Earth after losing because that'll make anyone sad and cranky.

Of course, all of this is true for Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, but to the 12th power. Catch him on a good night and you're lucky to get blown off, but after a loss to fall in to a 0-2 hole in a playoff series? That's just asking for trouble.

Gregg Popovich is kind of the best, isn't he? Not only is he TBS Very Funny, he also invented what should be the hot new catchphrase: "Geez oh whiz, guys." And on top of that, he's totally right.

Yeah, the Spurs are going to try hard to win the next game. That's obvious. And really, is telling guys like Tim Duncan(notes) and Manu Ginobili(notes) that they won a playoff series two years ago after being down 0-2 going to help? Probably not, since they are not playing in a What If Sports game and are in fact grown-ups.

All that being said, the best part is still how funny this is. Seriously, "geez oh whiz, guys." Who says that?
