Where mock drafts have former Georgia football players going as 2024 NFL Draft approaches
Georgia football has had a huge presence in the NFL Draft first round the past two years with eight total players selected.
The Bulldogs 2024 draft class could have two or three more go in the opening round and a few more are candidates to go in round two when the draft starts on April 25.
They were part of Georgia’s back-to-back national championship run in 2021 and 2022 and a 13-1 season in 2023.

Here’s a breakdown of where Georgia’s top five prospects are showing up in recent mock drafts:
TE Brock Bowers
The three-time All-American is considered a top 10 talent but that doesn't mean he is a lock to be a top 10 pick.
Bowers had 2,538 receiving yards and 26 touchdown catches along with 5 rushing touchdowns in three seasons while hardly being a typical tight end.

OT Amarius Mims
Based on these mock drafts, most aren't downgrading Mims much for his only 8 career starts. At 6-foot-8 and 340 pounds, Mims ran a 5.07 40 to show his freakish athleticism.
Georgia counted on him to step in during the 2022 College Football Playoff national championship run and he was a starter in 2023 but missed time due after ankle surgery.

WR Ladd McConkey
Back and ankle injuries kept McConkey off the field for a decent chunk of last season, but he was a playmaker when he was on the field just like in the two previous seasons when the unheralded former high school prospect was a key cog in the Bulldogs' offense who scored 18 career touchdowns.

CB Kamari Lassiter
Lassiter did about everything you would want from a cornerback except rack up interceptions. He still was a reliable defender in the Bulldogs secondary the past two seasons including in 2023 when he did not give up a touchdown.

S Javon Bullard
A starter for Georgia's secondary as a nickel back in the 2022 national championship season who moved to safety last year. Carved out a reputation as a hard-hitter while racking up 114 total tackles and 4 interceptions.
