The Cy-Hawk rivalry will add another noteworthy women's basketball chapter Wednesday when Lisa Bluder's Hawkeyes face Bill Fennelly's Cyclones at 6 p.m. inside Hilton Coliseum in Ames. ESPN2 will televise the game.

Buoyed by defending national player of the year Caitlin Clark, No. 3 Iowa (8-1) has rolled to another hot start in the season's first month. After falling versus Kansas State on Nov. 16, Iowa has won five straight while scoring 98-plus points in four of those games.

Meanwhile, Iowa State (4-3) is still finding its footing with a young roster. Led by highly touted freshman Audi Crooks, the Cyclones are looking for their third straight win after falling to Vanderbilt and Syracuse at the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout in Las Vegas.
