How to watch Cleveland Cavaliers games on Bally Sports during Comcast Xfinity outage

The Cleveland Cavaliers are in the middle of a tight NBA playoffs run.

The Cavaliers took a 3-2 lead in the first round of the 2024 playoffs with a 104-103 win against the Orlando Magic Tuesday, helped by a game-sealing block by Evan Mobley. The Cavaliers have a chance to secure a trip to the Eastern Conference semifinals with a win in Game 6 Friday.

But with the series shown nationally on NBATV and locally on Bally Sports Ohio, many local Cavaliers fans and Comcast users will have to find another way to watch the postseason run.

Diamond Sports Group, which operates all 18 Bally Sports regional channels, could not come into a carrier agreement with Comcast before Tuesday's deadline. With no agreement, Bally Sports Ohio and each of the Bally regional networks will be blacked out for Comcast customers.

"It’s disappointing that Comcast rejected a proposed extension that would have kept Bally Sports channels on the air and have pulled our signals," the statement reads. "As a result, Bally Sports broadcasts are unavailable to Comcast subscribers. We encourage you to contact Comcast directly at 1-800-Xfinity. In the meantime, alternative viewing options can be found at www.getmyhometeams.com. Fans can subscribe to Bally Sports+ for direct-to-consumer (DTC) access to programming for the teams for which Diamond retains DTC rights or access Bally Sports channels by subscribing to Fubo, DirecTV or DirecTV STREAM."
