Vote for the SouthCoast High School Boys Athlete of the Week for April 22-28
The winner of last week’s Boys Athlete of the Week poll was Apponequet’s Jake Cusson He had 72% of the vote to receive the honor. Cusson had a combined five goals and six assists in a pair of wins for Apponequet.
The previous winner was Wareham’s Ty-Rell Pires. The winner of the Preseason Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year poll was Old Colony’s Stu Burnham. The winner of the Preseason Boys Tennis Player of the Year poll was Fairhaven’s Kole Pinto.

BOYS LACROSSE
Will Levrault, Apponequet
Levrault had a combined 22 goals and 13 assists in four games for the Lakers.
Kenny Wisniewski, Apponequet
In four games, Wisniewski had a combined 27 goals and 16 assists to power the Lakers.
Eli Ikkela, Bishop Stang
Ikkela led the Spartans with a combined nine goals and four assists in three games.
Andrew Lally, Bishop Stang
In two games, Lally had a combined five goals and six assists.
Will Sanders, Bishop Stang
Sanders had a combined 42 saves in three games.
Jackson Hart, Dartmouth
Hart recorded a team-high eight goals in a win over Barnstable.
Barrett Becotte, Fairhaven
In two games, Becotte had a combined six goals and three assists.
Nathan Pearson, GNB Voc-Tech
Pearson scored two goals against Apponequet to set the school record with his 114th career goal.
Stu Burnham, Old Colony
Burnham had a combined seven goals and four assists in a pair of games.
Luke Meelia, Old Colony
Against Tri-County, Meelia had five goals and two assists.
Caleb Bousquet, Old Rochester
Bousquet had a combined four goals and four assists in a pair of games for ORR.
David Lally, Old Rochester
Lally erupted for 10 goals and one assist in a win over Dighton-Rehoboth.

Elijah Barlow, Apponequet
Barlow was first in the discus and long jump against Dighton-Rehoboth.
Andre Capataz, Dartmouth
Capataz was first in the shot put (state-qualifying time) and discus against the Whalers.
Maddox Dupre, Dartmouth
Dupre was fastest in the 100 and 200 (state-qualifying time) against New Bedford.
Tyler Medeiros, Dartmouth
Against New Bedford, Medeiros won the mile and high jump.
Townes Moore, Dartmouth
Moore won the triple jump and 400 against New Bedford.
Peter Quinn, Dartmouth
Quinn took first in the 400 hurdles and 110 hurdles against New Bedford.
Jarred Quan, GNB Voc-Tech
Quan won the 100 and 200 against Seekonk.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Carter Barbosa, New Bedford
In three games, Barbosa had a combined 109 assists and 36 digs for the undefeated Whalers.
Davon Centeio, New Bedford
Centeio had a combined 52 digs in three games.
Juan Grau Montano, New Bedford
Montano had a combined 48 kills in three games for New Bedford.
BOYS TENNIS
Will Horton, Apponequet
Horton won all three of his first singles matches against Dartmouth, Dighton-Rehoboth and Old Rochester.
Brian Ward, Bishop Stang
Ward won his first singles match against Middleboro.
Luke Bloom-Glover, Dartmouth
Bloom-Glover won his first singles matches against Brockton and Durfee.
Charlie Camisa, Dartmouth
With three different partners, Camisa won his first doubles matches against Apponequet, Brockton and Durfee.
Kole Pinto, Fairhaven
Pinto won his first singles matches against Seekonk, Westport and Case.
Jacob Hadley, Old Rochester
Hadley won his first singles matches against Bishop Stang and Somerset Berkley.
Boon Oulette, Wareham
Oulette won his first singles match against St. John Paul II.
