VOTE: Midseason boys and girls high school soccer MVP

The Midseason Soccer MVPs have been chosen. Here are the winners

For the girls, it's Randall's Kyndal McClain. McClain is enjoying a breakout season, leading the team with 18 goals. She's also second on the team in assists with seven. She took home the win with 17,068 votes out of 47,658 (35.81%).

Shoutout to Caprock's Neveah Valdez, who finished second with 14,683 votes (30.81%). Tessa Fowler of Tascosa had a solid showing as well (12.75% of the vote to finish third).

Avery Thomas (Canyon), Naleigh Martinez (West Plains) Yahaira Martinez (Palo Duro), Jessica Murga (Dumas), Lily Cook (Amarillo High), Evelyn Rodriguez (Perryton), Riley Lumpkin (Borger), Milagros Chavez (Plainview) and Mallory Beason (Pampa) were all nominated as well and put up outstanding showings.

The boys had a solid race as well with Ricardo Mendez of Caprock coming out on top. He finished with 15,223 votes out of 40,149 (37.92%). He's allowed just two goals this year with 30 saves, seven shutouts and two assists.

It was a tight race with Ish Marchan of Dumas finishing just behind Mendez with an excellent turnout. Marchan finished with 14,562 votes (36.27%). Sebastian Brimm of Amarillo High finished third with 11.77% of the vote.

Diego Jerez (Pampa), Jamie Martinez (Palo Duro), Brice Chaffin (Canyon), David Sanchez (Plainview), Jaiden Cervantes (West Plains) and Patrick Bienvenue (Tascosa) all had strong results as well.
