TANK WILLIAMS: Javon Kinlaw is a 6' 5", 224 pound athletic specimen who's too damn big to move the way he moves. Kinlaw flashes a quick first step, bullrush power, and lateral quickness, everything you need to wreck shop in the interior line of scrimmage. Now, on the upside, NFL teams are placing emphasis on creating instant pressure on quarterbacks, especially from the interior line of scrimmage, and Kinlaw's game is built perfectly for that. Now, on the downside, his pad level rush moves and consistency can be refined, but the raw talent slaps you in the face whenever you pop on a tape.

Now, whenever I see a guy who can impact the pass game up the gut, I think about Chris Jones with the Kansas City Chiefs. And Kinlaw has that size and skill to impact the game in that way, though I don't think he's Chris Jones's level yet. But don't tell Javon Kinlaw that.

JAVON KINLAW: I don't think I really model it after nobody, you know, just because I think I got a chance to do something special in that league. You know, when it's all said and done, I feel like people will look back on my career and be like, yeah, that guys right there is a one of a kind type of player.
