Vegas chapel offering free weddings on Super Bowl Sunday to couples named Travis and Taylor

As Super Bowl Sunday quickly approaches, a Las Vegas chapel is planning to cash in on the fervor surrounding superstar couple Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

The Chapel of the Flowers announced Wednesday it will offer free wedding ceremonies to any couples named Travis and Taylor who want to tie the knot on Feb. 11 — the same day Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.

“If your name is Taylor and you’d like to get married to your partner Travis after the big game, this is your chance to score a free Vegas wedding,” the venue’s CEO Donne Kerestic said in a statement.

The publicity ploy was created to tie in with the wishful thinking and rumors that the power couple could be getting engaged on game day.

Swift, whose relationship with the 34-year-old tight end was confirmed in September, is expected to fly her private jet to Sin City from Japan, where she will have just wrapped the Tokyo leg of her international Eras Tour.

“We’re ready to make the Big Game even bigger for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce with a wedding in one of our famous chapels,” Kerestic said. “If they’re game to turn their ‘Big Day’ into a Vegas extravaganza, we’ve got an aisle prepared and ready to go. Vegas weddings are the real MVP!”

The Nevada venue — located on the Las Vegas Strip near The STRAT Hotel, Casino, & Tower — is the same place where Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra said their “I dos” in 1998. The chapel was also the subject of the 2009 TLC reality show “Happily Ever Faster.”

Sunday’s championship matchup is taking place at nearby Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, which is already in overdrive with festivities leading up to the weekend.
