Division 2

Menasha 81, Green Bay West 43

MENASHA - The Bluejays built a comfortable 15-point halftime lead and then blew out the Wildcats in the second half by outscoring them by 23 points for the regional quarterfinal win.

Menasha, with a 10-15 record, will play at second-seeded Plymouth in the regional semifinal Friday.

Tayden Wilke led Menasha with 16 points. Josiah Hibbler and Jacob Coopman both added 14 points.

Green Bay West was led by Deontae Steele, who scored 17 points. Madden Thao added 11 points.

Green Bay West’s season ends with a 5-20 record.

SEYMOUR - The Thunder advanced to the regional semifinals with the win over the Timberwolves.

Kyler Marks led Seymour with 29 points. Xavier Salzman added 19 and Isaac Feske scored 15.

Seymour, now 16-9, will play at third-seeded Mosinee on Friday in a regional semifinal.

Little Chute 67, North Fond du Lac 30

LITTLE CHUTE – Grant Hermus and Nolan Jakubek scored 13 points apiece and Cooper Effa added 12 as the Mustangs used a big first half to power past the Orioles in regional quarterfinal action.

Jesus Juarez led North Fond du Lac with eight points.

Little Chute jumped out to a 47-11 halftime edge and never looked back.

The fifth-seeded Mustangs move to 14-11 and will travel to fourth-seeded Winnebago Lutheran on Friday.

North Fond du Lac finishes at 1-24 overall.

WRIGHTSTOWN - A layup by Kaden Colwell off a steal by Grant Lamers with 2 minutes left allowed the Tigers to get control of the game against the Cougars.

Wrightstown, which then closed out the game with free throws, was led by Aiden Van Zeeland with 12 points and Ethan Cyra with 11.

Campbellsport was led by Caleb Smith’s 14 points. Carson Reis added 11.

Wrightstown, which is now 13-12, will play Brillion in a regional semifinal Friday.

Campbellsport ends its season with a record of 5-18.

Algoma was led by Parker Lischka with 15 points.

Weyauwega-Fremont improves its record to 13-12. Algoma finishes the season 11-12.

Shiocton 91, Mishicot 38

SHIOCTON – Four players scored in double figures as Shiocton pulled away in the second half to earn the regional quarterfinal win.

The Chiefs held a 14-point lead at intermission, before outscoring Mishicot 52-13 the rest of the way.

Cody Young led the way with 14 points, while Kyle Bergsbaken and Connor Bergsbaken added 13, and Bennett Schmidt 11.

No one reached double digits for Mishicot, but Nick Parma and Nolan Sand had six points each.

Shiocton (13-12), the fifth seed, will face fourth-seeded Crivitz on Friday in a regional semifinal.

Mishicot finishes its season at 5-19.

GREEN BAY – Reid Nelson scored 14 points, Griffin Steffel added 13 and Sam Hillmann 12 as the Blazers held off the Wolves in a regional quarterfinal.

Seventh-seeded NEW Lutheran will face second-seeded Lourdes Academy in a regional semifinal Friday. Lourdes defeated 15th-seeded Suring 85-27.

Leading Hilbert was Kaelin VandenWyngaard with 20 points and Nathan Huettl with 16.

The Blazers (13-12) took a 25-24 halftime advantage and the game remained tight throughout the second half.

Hilbet finishes its season at 8-17.
