Timberwolves vs. Warriors: Live stream, how to watch, TV channel, rookie watch, previous result, start time on Jan. 25

After two ugly losses, the Golden State Warriors will have the opportunity to stop the slide against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday at Chase Center. Monday’s tilt against the T-Wolves will mark the first time since the pair of teams have met on the floor since agreeing to a blockbuster trade at last year’s deadline that included Andrew Wiggins and D’Angelo Russell.

However, one of the featured pieces of the trade may be sidelined for the matchup. Russell is listed as questionable for the contest with a right quad contusion. The former Golden State point guard is averaging 20.5 points on 43.2% shooting from the field with 5.5 assists and three rebounds in 30.7 minutes through 14 games in the 2020-21 season.

Along with the potential battle between Russell and Wiggins, Monday’s game will display the top two selections in the 2020 NBA draft. For the first time in their careers, No. 1 overall pick Anthony Edwards will lineup across from No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman.

In their rookie seasons, Edwards is averaging 12.1 points on 34.7% shooting from the field with 2.7 boards and 1.7 assists per game, while Wiseman is averaging 11.8 points on 50.8% shooting from the field with 6.1 rebounds per game.
