The Masters is known for its unforgiving cut line. Where most PGA events have a cut line of the top-61 players, the Masters only allows the top 50 to advance past Day 2.

Still, despite the tougher mark, five-time champion Tiger Woods has had no issues advancing to the weekend for a record-breaking 24th consecutive time. Coming into this year's tournament, he was tied for the longest streak of all-time made cuts alongside Gary Player and Fred Couples at 23.

Of course, Woods is not the same golfer he once was, but that hasn't stopped his success at Augusta National. Just last year, Woods made the 36-hole cut but was forced to withdraw from the tournament due to a plantar fasciitis injury. Injuries have eaten away at Woods' talent and play time, so heading into the 2024 Masters many people were skeptical he could break that consecutive cuts record. Woods' Tuesday admission that he had been playing through pain only furthered fans' concerns.
