Texas men's basketball announces 2023-24 non-conference with nine games in Moody Center
Texas basketball released the 2023-24 non-conference schedule on Thursday, with nine of the games being at the Moody Center.
The highlights of the games not in Austin are two as part of the Empire Classic at Madison Square Garden, a road game at Marquette in the Big East-Big 12 Battle and a neutral-site game in Houston against LSU.
The Big 12 schedule has not been finalized at this time, though the league has announced opponents along with home and away designations for the upcoming conference slate. The tipoff times and complete television schedule for the season will be announced when ready.
UT will open the season against Incarnate Word in Moody Center on Nov. 9, followed by home contests against Delaware State (Nov. 10) and Rice (Nov. 15). The schedule also includes games vs. Wyoming, Texas State, Houston Christian, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, UNC Greensboro and UTA.
Big 12 play opens on January 6.
