Tennessee Titans DB Sean Murphy-Bunting questionable to return with thumb injury vs. Steelers

Tennessee Titans cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting is questionable to return to Thursday's game at the Pittsburgh Steelers with a thumb injury, the team announced.

Murphy-Bunting started the game but left during the first drive of the game, with Tre Avery stepping in for him.

Tennessee is already low on cornerbacks, with Roger McCreary (hamstring) inactive on Thursday.

The Titans also have new safety Terrell Edmunds among other versatile options in the secondary, should Murphy-Bunting be limited or not return.

Murphy-Bunting, a former Buccaneers defensive back, has been a starter and a consistent cornerback on the outside in his first season with the Titans. He is tied for the team lead in passes defended (four) and the team leader in forced fumbles.
