'She is so fun to watch': Fever fans are ready for Caitlin Clark after college career ends

Next stop: the Indiana Fever (almost certainly).

Caitlin Clark finished her Iowa career with an NCAA Div. I-record 3,951 points and 1,144 assists, two national player of the year honors and two national runner-up finishes. She had 30 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists Sunday in a 87-75 loss to South Carolina, which finished the season undefeated.

South Carolina coach Dawn Staley shouted out Clark as the Gamecocks celebrated, acknowledging Clark's role in raising the profile of women's college basketball.

"I want to personally thank Caitlin Clark for lifting up our sport," Staley said. "She carried a heavy load for sport, and it's not going to stop here on the collegiate tour, but when she is the No. 1 pick in the WNBA Draft, she's going to lift that league up as well.

"Caitlin Clark ... you are one of the GOATs of our game and we appreciate you."

The Fever own the No. 1 pick in WNBA Draft on April 15, and they've geared ticket promotions (just coincidentally) around Clark's March Madness games.

Here's how fans are looking to the future.
