Saturday's Top Prep Performers: Local finishers at the Don Green Memorial track meet
Highlights from Saturday in high school spring sports:
BOYS TRACK AND FIELD
At the Don Green Memorial, Friday-Saturday
Westlake: Cade Sommers won the pole vault (13-10). Lawson Grace had the longest mark in the discus (138-6). Ylian Ostojic was second (11.04) in the 100 and the 200 (22.81).
Rio Mesa: Jackson Knowles won the high jump (6-2).
St. Bonaventure: Christian Diaz won the 100 (10.93).
Ventura: Liam Robinson won the long jump (20-3). Nicholas Anter won the triple jump (38-10.50). Luke Camaghe won the 110 hurdles (15.91) and was second in the 400 (52.03). Ty Brown was third in the triple jump (37-9).
Camarillo: The Scorpions set a meet record in the 4x800 relay (8:15.12). Jacson Cutting was second in the 110 hurdles (16.28).
Agoura: The Chargers won the 4x100 relay (43.96). Beau Lantz was third in the 400 (52.19).
Oak Park: Kean Castaneda was second in the 200 (2:02.94).
Buena: Wakine Molina was second (6-0) in the high jump. Chase Pritchard was second in the long jump (19-8.50).
Thousand Oaks: Liam Papavasiliou (9:18.05) and Oliver Clippinger-Zimmerman (9:22.55) were second and third in the 3,200. Alexander Karsten was third in the 100 (11.08).

Oxnard: Jarnell Pace was third in the 110 hurdles (16.86). The Yellowjackets won the 4x400 relay (3:38.07).
Royal: Preston Binns was second in the 200 (22.84).
GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD
At the Don Green Memorial, Friday-Saturday
Ventura: Valentina Fakrogha set a meet record in the high jump (5-6) and was second in the 400 (59.24). Aelo Curtis won the 1,600 (5:11.03) and was second in the 800 (2:23.17). The Cougars won the 4x800 relay (9:55.11).
Buena: Madison Easter set a meet record in the 400 (58.71) and won the 200 (24.95).
Moorpark: Caitlyn Dougherty won the 300 hurdles (49.54) and was third in the 100 hurdles (17.22).
Camarillo: Monet Taylor tied for first in the long jump (15-10). Katie Jenkins was second in the 300 hurdles (50.91). The Scorpions were third in the 4x800 relay (10:07.96).
Oxnard: Valeria Rodriguez tied for first in the long jump (15-10). The Yellowjackets won the 4x100 relay (49.76) and 4,000 distance medley (13:28.97). Juniors Brianna Richards, Sienna Pimentel and Karina Ponce and freshman Helena Marin set the school record in the distance medley, breaking the old mark of 14:05 set in 2011. Ryanna Harris was third in the 100 (12.67).

Calabasas: Arden Keeton won the 800 (2:23.02) and was third in the 1,600 (5:23.68).
Royal: Olivia Kirk won the 100 (12.17) and was second in the 200 (25.26).
St. Bonaventure: Erin Makhanian tied the meet record in the pole vault (10-10).
Westlake: Claudia Turner of was second in the pole vault (10-4).
Thousand Oaks: Cassidy Kajita won the 3,200 (11:06.49). Taylor Dominguez was third in the pole vault (10-4).
Oak Park: Katarina Modrzejewski was fourth in the 3,200 (11:28.19).
Simi Valley: Shayli Williams was second in the triple jump (32-11). Annika Sorensen was second in the 100 hurdles (16.88)
BASEBALL
Cameron Fausset finished 3 for 4 with a home run and four RBIs, Drew Paez hit a homer, Luke Medhurst was 2 for 3 with an RBI, Cade Falsken was 1 for 2 with a triple and three runs scored, Carson Richter went 2 for 3 with two runs scored, and Grayson Paul allowed one run on four hits while striking out six in five innings to lead Newbury Park (4-3) to a 10-2 win over Corona del Mar.

SOFTBALL
Westlake defeated Aztec 10-0 and Kofa 9-1 at the Dave Kops Tournament in Bullhead City, Ariz. In the first game, Cambria Finnegan went 2 for 3 with two home runs and three RBIs, Sammy Gallegos was 2 for 3 with a homer and two RBIs, Liv Tirsch was 2 for 2 with an RBI, Sydney Katz was 1 for 2 with an RBI, Amanda Baldwin was 1 for 3 with an RBI, and Linden McCarl struck out six in the circle. In the second game, Baldwin and Oliva Ziebell-White each went 1 for 2 with two RBIs, Cat Anzalone and Tirsch each went 1 for 2 with an RBI, Presley Waters was 1 for 1 with an RBI, and Lily Barrett struck out three in four innings.
Madison Finnerty didn't allow an earned run while striking out seven in six innings and Driana Martinez went 3 for 3 for Moorpark in its 1-0 loss Torrance at the Dave Kops Tournament in Bullhead City, Ariz.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Rio Mesa went 6-0 in pool play and lost 25-23 to Madera South in the Gold Division final to take second place at the two-day Morro Bay Tournament.
Oxnard lost to Madera 25-20, 21-25, 15-13 and beat Sanger West 24-26, 25-19, 15-11 and Bakersfield Christian 25-17, 25-21 on the second day of the San Luis Obispo Tournament.
