Rams are signing All-Pro CB Tre’Davious White to $8.5M deal

Even after signing Darious Williams to a three-year deal, the Los Angeles Rams were in the market for more cornerback help. They’re adding another veteran to the secondary, agreeing to a one-year contract with former Bills corner Tre’Davious White.

White visited the Rams last week as he weighed his options on the free-agent market.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the deal is worth $8.5 million and has a max value of $10 million.

The Bills cut White this offseason after he played just four games in 2023 and six in 2022, struggling with injuries in each of the last two years. He was also limited to 11 games in 2021, one year after being voted a second-team All-Pro and Pro Bowler.

White finished fifth in Defensive Player of the Year voting in 2019 and was named a first-team All-Pro, leading the NFL with six interceptions. There are no doubts about his coverage ability, but injuries are a concern for the 29-year-old corner.
