Here is a look at the individuals in the running to be voted the LSJ high school athlete of the week winner.
Voting is open until noon Wednesday to determine a winner, who will be featured in the LSJ.

Collin Farmer, Pewamo-Westphalia boys track and field
Farmer broke his own school record in the 1,600 run at the Grand Rapids Elite Challenge on Saturday, finishing with a time of 4:17.57. The senior also won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 at a CMAC meet featuring Fowler and Saranac.
McKenzie Lockwood, Mason girls soccer
Lockwood contributed to a 2-0-1 week for Mason and scored the lone goal in the Division 2 No. 10-ranked Bulldogs’ 1-0 win over Division 2 top-ranked Marian on Saturday.
Sophia Schrauben, Portland St. Patrick girls track
The senior helped the Shamrocks win the Spartan Classic. She won the 100 hurdles in 16.73 seconds, the 300 hurdles in 48.34 seconds and was part of the winning 800 and 1,600 relay teams. She was part of meet records in the 300 hurdles and on the two relays and was named the running athlete of the meet for small schools. Schrauben won the 300 hurdles in a CMAC tri-meet featuring Bath and Perry on Wednesday.
Isabel Thelen, St. Johns girls tennis
Thelen helped the Redwings pick up CAAC Red victories over Haslett and Fowlerville by picking up a pair of wins at No. 1 singles. She won 6-0, 6-1 against Haslett while helping St. Johns to a 5-3 win and followed with with a 6-0, 6-0 win in the Redwings’ 8-0 victory over Fowlerville.
