The Philadelphia 76ers are coming to Fort Collins.

The NBA franchise will hold training camp Oct. 3-6 in Fort Collins, using the facilities at Colorado State University. The 76ers announced the news Monday morning.

It will be the first training camp for the 76ers under new coach Nick Nurse. There are not expected to be any open practices for fans to attend.

Philadelphia finished the 2022-23 season third in the Eastern Conference with a record of 54-28. The 76ers lost in the second round of the playoffs to Boston.

The Denver Nuggets went on to win the NBA title.

CSU legend Jason Smith was traded to Philadelphia on draft night in 2007 and was with the 76ers from 2007-10. A giant poster of Smith hangs in CSU's practice facility.
